Dear Sir/Madam,

The Foundation “Child Soul in The Third Millennium” began its activity at the end of May 2010. The Headquarters is in Pantelimon City, Ilfov District, Romania, No2, Campului Street.
The purpose of the organization is to give a good education and a good start in life to rroma children from Pantelimon City, and from Ilfov District generally (for the moment). In time, we hope to expand our activities to other areas, as we want to help more and more children.
For moment we work with 50 children aged between 4 and16.
Some of them go to school, and others we try to introduce in the educational system - school.
We know that “The Future belongs to the nations whose citizens are best educated” ( The President Barak Obama, 9th of March 2009). We try to reduce poverty in the rroma community through education, thus creating new opportunities for disadvantaged rroma children.
In Pantelimon City there is nothing for children: no parks, no play grounds, no after school arrangements. Our organization undertakes the task of educating these children through play, in a relaxed and pleasant environment.
In two months, since we began working with the children, our children already presented to audiences two artistic programs: one sketch about the importance of school studies, and one about fairy tales, called: “ Carnival tales”. Also the children learned and danced on stage Waltz, Tango, Modern and Folk dances, sang songs and recited poems.
Unfortunately we lack resources and official support in order to continue our work. We contacted the local authorities and asked for support, but unfortunately they are not able to help us, so we are facing now big financial problems.
From the beginning, over 2 months ago, we provided all the facilities for the children activities and personally paid all the expenses with our money, but we can’t to do this for much longer.
So, we need your help in order to pay for rent, electricity and other utilities, children’s costumes, books, transport, teachers’ wages, building maintenance for the space used for the children activities etc. Otherwise, sadly, we may be forced to stop our work and close the Foundation.

We know you care for the children and their education, so, please help us to help these children go to school, go to kindergarten, to have an after school, and a place organized where they can learn good things with good teachers.
